About this guide
The 33rd Winter Universiade, in Changchun and Jilin City
An independent editorial guide to the 2027 Winter World University Games, held January 15–25, 2027, for student and youth athletes. I follow the programme so fans and families can find the right venue and sport before the competition begins.
Context
Back in China for a second time
This will be the second Winter Universiade hosted in China, following Harbin in 2009. The 2027 Games bring the event to Changchun as the main zone and Jilin City as the secondary zone, both in Jilin Province.
This guide is maintained as an independent editorial project for fans and families following the winter programme. It is not the official organizer of the Games, and any detail still marked TBC stays TBC until it is confirmed.
